Registration search results will NOT appear IF: (1) registrant unchecked the "Show me in the results when Active.com users search to see who registered for this event" option when registering, (2) registrant was registered by someone other than the registrant, or (3) registrant is a minor (under 18) due to COPPA compliance.

If unable to confirm registration using Active Networks search tool, then registration may be confirmed by contacting Active Network's Consumer Support team at support@active.com or 877.228.4881 (option 3), Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (PST).

Change Registration

Registrants who were registered by someone else or registered by paper will not be able to make changes to their registration online or transfer their registration to another person. Such registrants may contact Active Network at the number below to makes changes to their registration, upgrade their race or downgrade their race, but transfers to another person are not possible.

If you experience problems with registration changes, then contact Active Network's Consumer Support team for assistance at support@active.com or 877.228.4881 (option 3), Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (PST).

  • Change Registrant Information - Changes to registrant information, e.g., date of birth, phone number, address and emergency contact, can be made by the registrant. Click Edit Registration button below or the Edit link on your confirmation email. Edits may be performed online through Sunday, September 22.
  • Race Upgrade - You may transfer your own registration fees from one race to a higher race, i.e., half marathon to marathon or 5k to half marathon. You will receive the participant shirt for the race to which you transfer. Upgrades are only available as long as the race to which you desire a transfer has not reached capacity. Additional registration fees are based on the cost of registration as of the day of transfer. Methods of Race Upgrade:
    • Online - Click Edit Registration button below or the Change category link on your confirmation email. A $5 processing fee will apply. Race upgrades may be performed online through Sunday, September 22.
    • Expo - Get your race packet and shirt from Packet Pick-up. Go to Registration desk. Request race upgrade, then give the volunteer your packet and shirt (if upgrading from 5k). Provide payment in U.S. dollars for the difference between the amount paid and the current rate for race to which the transfer is requested. You will be given a new packet and shirt (if upgrading to 5k). Shirt size selection is based on availability.
    • NO TRANSFERS WILL BE MADE RACE DAY.
  • Race Downgrade - You may transfer your own registration fees from one race to a lower race, i.e., marathon to half-marathon or half-marathon to 5k. You will receive the participant shirt for the race to which you transfer. Downgrades are only available as long as the race to which you desire a transfer has not reached capacity. Additional registration fees are based on the cost of registration as of the day of transfer. There are no refunds of registration fees already paid. Methods of Race Downgrade:
    • Online - Click Edit Registration button below or the Change category link on your confirmation email. A $5 processing fee will apply. Race downgrades may be performed online through Sunday, September 22.
    • Expo - Get your race packet and shirt from Packet Pick-up. Go to Registration desk. Request race downgrade, then give the volunteer your packet and shirt (if downgrading to 5k). You will be given a new packet and shirt (if downgrading to 5k). Shirt size selection is based on availability.
    • NO TRANSFERS WILL BE MADE RACE DAY.
  • Registration Transfer - Registration transfer to another athlete is permitted should you decide you cannot participate in the event. To start the process, click the Transfer to someone else link on your confirmation email or the Edit Registration button below. Unfortunately, due to a limitation of Active Networks online registration, the new registrant will pay the current rate of the transferred race. When the new registrant pays for the transferred registration, the original registrant will be refunded to their credit card their original registration fee less a $20 processing fee. Transfers may be performed online through Sunday, September 22. No transfers at the Expo.
  • Add Options to Existing Registration - Options may be added to an existing registration before race day. Methods to Add Options to Existing Registration:
    • Postal Mail - Download registration form. Write at the top "ADD OPTIONS TO REGISTRATION." Complete First Name, Last Name, City, State/Prov fields. Select options from the Registration Fees list to add to your registration. Mail the completed add-on registration with payment in USD funds for the added options to the address provided on the form by Monday, September 16 or drop it off at Klicks Running & Walking in Bellingham by Sunday, September 22. The processing fee is waived for registration add-on options.
    • Expo - Get your race packet and shirt from Packet Pick-up. Go to Registration desk. Request options be added to your registration. Provide payment in U.S. dollars.
  • Deferment - Registrants cannot transfer their registration to the next year in the event they cannot run.
  • Refunds - No refunds on entry fees. Non-entry fees are refundable less a $15 processing fee until August 31 with a written request.

Cancellation Policy

We adhere to the standard marathon running industry policy. All entry fees are non-refundable. This is noted on our registration application, and when you register for any of our events you must agree to this policy. You may transfer your registration to another individual. See Registration Changes for details.

The entry fee for this year’s event will NOT transfer to next year’s event, no exceptions. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected business or family emergency, pregnancy, etc. There are NO exceptions.
