Bellingham Bay Marathon – 10K

The 5k & 10k will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2021

Turn-by-Turn Directions

1. Start is on Railroad Ave. between Holly St. and E. Chestnut St. 
2. Heading out towards E. Chestnut St. – Right on E. Chestnut St.
3. E. Chestnut becomes W. Chestnut becomes Roeder Ave. 
4. Mile 1 will be just before Bellwether Way
5. Roeder Ave. becomes Seaview Ave.
6. 10K participants will do a cute little out-and-back on Seaview Ave. to hit Mile 2
7. Seaview Ave. becomes Roeder Ave,
8. 10K participants take a Left on Roeder Ave./Squalicum Parkway
9. Mile 4 is just before Squalicum Creek Park 
10. Left onto the trail into Squalicum Creek Park (just past the parking lot); the trail will curve Left up a short hill on the outer rim of the park
11. Mile 3 is at the top of the hill on the outer rim of Squalicum Creek Park; 10K participants will take a Right at the top of the hill & follow the trail out of the park
12. Right onto Northwest Ave. 
13. Right, back on Squalicum Parkway, for a nice, long descent, until Squalicum Parkway becomes Roeder, curving Left at the bottom; Mile 4 will be halfway down Squalicum Pkwy
14. Mile 5 is past Coho Way, on Roeder Ave. 
15. Roeder Ave. becomes W. Chestnut Ave.; Mile 6 is just before Commercial St. 
16. W. Chestnut becomes E. Chestnut; 10K participants will take a Left back on Railroad Ave., to finish where they started the whole magical experience
